Snowflakes and kittens and warm woolen mittens…

Sorry, no woolen mittens in this post.

Well, the snowflakes made a brief appearance yesterday morning. Fortunately, I cleaned up most of my garden on Monday when the temperature was a balmy 65°.

Speaking of snowflakes, I just remembered a one-block kit I purchased a couple of years ago. It has organza in it which intrigued me. I’ll keep it a little mystery for now. Maybe I can sneak it between a couple other projects.

Haven’t been in the sewing room since Saturday. Keeping up with Laura’s lessons and various mundane, must-do tasks are not letting me get to my happy place.

But Saturday, I did stitch-in-the-ditch on Chris’ quilt. That’s a big chunk right there. Then I’ll have the fancier quilting to do.

I'm comfortable here. Go work on something else.

Cats don’t care what you’re doing; they gotta be on your stuff. Bear, RIP, was particularly insistent about curling up on a quilt at the machine.

Earlier, I appliqued the fish to the Lenten runner.

Lent means fish!

Lent means fish!

That’s all for now.
